Exposure triangle is something every beginner needs to understand if you are learning photography.
The triangle itself explains that it contains 3 main elements of photography which helps to expose an image.
And those three elements are:-
ISO:- The ISO in photography is the light sensitivity of the camera sensor.
That means if the available light in the room is not enough you need to increase the iso to increase the sensor power.
In simple terms, it’s like less the light more will be the ISO.
2) Aperture:- aperture helps to control the light entering through the lens towards the camera sensor. To know more Click Here.
3) Shutter:- it is the amount of time for which the sensor is being exposed to light. To know more about shutter click here
Now, these three elements when used together efficiently creates properly exposed images in any scenario.
To Understand this thing better let’s take an example of a running tap under which a mug is placed you need to fill up the mug. Now let’s replace these elements by those three basic elements of photography.
The tap is the shutter speed the mouth of the tap is an aperture and the mug is sensor the light here is replaced by water.
To fill the sensor with light (a mug with water) the amount of time you need to open shutter(TAp) and how much to open (aperture).
To master the art you need to practise a lot it is like playing around with different settings at different locations and under different light conditions.
The exposure triangle is the combination of these three elements and plays important role in photography. And in the modern world, it is easy to click images than before you got your memory card you can practise as many images as many exposures as you can it’s all about practice.
